• Palace Guard Wing Chair

    A traditional mid-century Parker Knoll wing chair was chosen for this super piece to lovingly create a unique one-off eclectic chair to grace any home or office. Using an authentic Buckingham Palace Royal Household Coldstream Guard Great Coat complete with brass belt buckle and cotton ceremonial gloves. The rear of this piece has been finished off using a fabric print from an original Buckingham Palace photograph together with a quirky gloss black metal gated feature with gilded Fleur De Lys to finish off.

    The ‘Bearskin’ side panels of this piece are covered with jet black long haired Icelandic sheepskin panels with complimenting chin strap detail.  Finishing off with black leather arm caps and matching piped detail to arms and wing edges.

    Using brass serial numbered plaque confirming authenticity to rear frame of chair makes this piece of unique and quirky furniture stand out from the rest

    Delightful Victorian fireside wing chair with a twist, traditionally restored frame then lovingly reupholstered in a quirky mix of eclectic ‘City Gent’ charcoal pinstriped suiting, piped in black patent leather with matching black patent leather wrapped legs to front and back then polished to a parade finish.   • Dapper Tweed Chair

    Rare and unusual mahogany French chair dating back to the early 1900’s with handwritten pencil upholstery costings and signed by the upholsterer back in 1904 on the rear bottom wooden rail, hence this delightful discovery we have left exposed and made a feature for all to see and enjoy. Constructed using a pair of vintage Dunn & Co Harris Tweed Houndstooth country jackets with tan suede arm caps dressed in a equestrian stock and snaffle bit stock pin over a cotton neck roll.

    To create a true equestrian influenced piece a traditional local cobbler was commissioned to create vintage tan plaited leather arched arm supports, finishing off the piece in a double piped leather detail and vintage leather football buttons fastenings. Resting on original turned wooden legs finished in a hand painted black enamel. Finally graced with a set of Pheasant feather to button hole alongside a vintage papier-mâché ‘Judge’ badge.
